Classic Cello Competition Announces 2026 Competitors

Organized by CMDID, the Classic Cello International Competition will take place from March 26 to April 6, 2026, at London’s Royal College of Music. The organization is issuing a final call to cellists to compete for over €130,000, including a First Prize of €50,000. Led by Artistic Director Alexander Chaushian and President Konstantin Ishkhanov, the competition will welcome the following 40 musicians for eleven days of competition, to be covered by The Violin Channel as an official media partner.
