Jury Members Announced for the 2026 Classic Cello International Competition

The 2026 Classic Cello International Competition, set to take place from March 26 to April 6 at the Royal College of Music in London, is proud to announce the distinguished jury members who will serve at this prestigious event. These highly regarded musicians and experts will lend their expertise and experience to evaluate the talents of the world’s top cellists as they compete for the competition’s grand prizes.
The panel will include prominent figures in the world of music, such as Dorran Alibaud, Deborah Borda, Alexander Chaushian, Angela Dixon, Kathryn Enticott, Paul Hughes, Nabil Shehata, Florian Leonhard and Julian Lloyd Webber.
The jury will assess the participants through three rounds of performance, culminating in a Final Round where the top contenders will perform alongside an orchestra. With a prize pool of over £129,000, this competition is set to be a truly transformative event for emerging cellists.
