Season’s Greetings from Classic Cello

As the festive season approaches, the Classic Cello International Competition team is delighted to extend its warmest Christmas and New Year wishes to our cellists, jury members, partners, and audiences worldwide.
Looking ahead to Classic Cello 2026, taking place from 26 March to 6 April 2026 at the Royal College of Music in London, we are excited to prepare for the first standalone edition of this remarkable competition. Led by Artistic Director Alexander Chaushian and organised by CMDI Group, the event will bring together forty outstanding cellists from around the world to present an inspiring journey through repertoire ranging from Bach to contemporary works, culminating in a final with the Philharmonia Orchestra, London, conducted by Tomàs Grau.
