At Larsen Strings, we are dedicated to supporting the next generation of talented cellists and helping you unlock the full potential of your instrument. Hand-made in Denmark, our strings are recognised worldwide for exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design and a warm, projecting sound trusted by leading artists and orchestras.

We work closely with musicians to develop responsive, reliable strings that inspire confidence on stage and in the practice room – because at Larsen Strings it’s all about the music.

Personalised String Workshop for Winners

As a Classic Cello 1^st and 2^nd prize winner, you are invited to a FREE, PERSONALISED STRING WORKSHOP - either in person at our headquarters in Denmark, via Microsoft Teams or by mail. This unique session lets you explore the optimal string combination for your cello and playing style together with our string expert, Dr Thomas Zwieg.

Once we’ve found the perfect match for your instrument, we will provide you with one year’s supply of strings for 1^st prize winner, and one set of this bespoke combination for 2^nd prize winner. By supporting you, we aim to contribute to your artistic journey and help you realise your instrument’s full potential. As our motto says, “It’s all about the Music,” we would be honoured to play a small part in your continued success.
