Talent Norge
Talent Norway was initiated by the Norwegian ministry of Culture and Equality, and began its life in 2015 in a partnership with independent philanthropic foundations, aiming at world class talent development within the art field. Furthermore, Talent Norge partners with different actors within the private field to ensure strengthened funding for these activities.
Talent Norge is a private limited company with a non-profit purpose that funds talent programmes in the arts and culture sector, while also working to establish a strong interdisciplinary competence environment focused on talent development within the arts. Talent Norge AS was founded on January 21, 2015, and is currently owned by the Ministry of Culture and Equality, the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, and the Cultiva Foundation.
The core of Talent Norge's philosophy is to contribute to growth and mastery through a long-term and holistic approach to performers and their careers. In addition to financial support, Talent Norge builds a knowledge and expertise network around talent development in the arts.
We emphasize coaching, mentorship, health services, and cross-disciplinary competence development. We are here to help young people who are on the threshold of a professional career, and our ambition is to be the Olympiatoppen for the arts and culture sector.
As one of the Official Sponsors of the Classic Cello International Competition, Talent Norge will be offering a Special Prize to the winner of the contest, in the form of a monetary award of 30.000 NOK.
